So im almost all ready to submit the app to michigan when I notice that it says in small print in the pdf form of the instructions that applicants to the school of LSA must have 3 years of science, INCLUDING BIOLOGY.

is that like a serious, binding rule? I've taken 4 years of science with AP Chem and AP Phys, but I never took biology. I have 8 AP's overall, a 4.0 GPA and a 33ACT, can i REALLY not apply if i havnt taken bio? this is kind of a huge shock to me.

Interesting, are you sure that it doesn't just apply to people who are going into Medicine? I don't even think that was in effect last year because I'm in and I took Physical Science, Chemistry, and Physics. I suggest calling/emailing the admissions office.

ok i went to mich app "home" > "application instructions" > "application instructions" > under "school and college requirements" it says:

• College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA)
To be considered for freshman admission into LSA, you must complete these classes by the end of
your senior year in high school:
o Four years of English
o Three yeas of science, including biology
o Three years of mathematics
o Three years of history and/or social science
o Two years of the same foreign language
o Three years of other academic subjects

haha i have definitely not taken bio, but whatever, im applying. has anyone else encountered this?
