No Cal Grant, No Blue and Gold?

I’m an UC student, becoming senior this fall. I used up all 4 years of Cal Grant in community college so I can’t receive Cal Grant anymore. But does this mean that I am not eligible for Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan, too?

Students who are not eligible for Cal Grant fee awards may still be eligible for the Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan. One of the requirements for being awarded the Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan is that a student must have applied for a Cal Grant.

Have you talked to the school’s FA office yet? That’s your best source for information.

I already emailed FA office and they said that they can’t do anything until my counsellor do something about it. But my cousellor doesn’t reply to my email. FA office said to follow up two weeks from the day I sent email so I am still waiting…

Maybe you are right. Maybe I should go see someone in person. I’ll have to drive an hour to get there but looks like I have no choice.
