No Clue Who to ask for Letters of Rec

Hello! I'm a sophomore at a very mediocre state university (ranked 100+ on the National rankings). I'm currently a music major. Originally I planned on double majoring in both Music and Political science. This is basically impossible at this school. The school is also very weal academically (my roommate freshman year had a 17 as his ACT score and he got a scholarship). Anyways, I have absolutely no clue who to ask for Letters of recommendation from. I've had a few very large lectures where the TA basically had no role. I can't really ask anyone from the music department because it's very small and it would cause a lot of problems if I told them I as transferring. I'm debating asking my Freshman year English professor. I had him for 1st semester freshman year and I got an A in his class. However, I haven't talked to him a single time since the class ended. I also need a second person to ask. I could ask a TA that taught the discussion section for a second smelter Freshman year Poli Sci class I was in. I got an A and she often wrote "best paper I've read" on my papers. However, I also haven't talked to her since the class ended. Also the professor she taught for sort of hated me. I'm just sort of at a loss for what to do. I'd really like to transfer to a more prestigious university that allows me to double major, but almost all of them need two letters. Is anyone in the same situation? Does anyone have any advice? Sorry for rambling on.....
