<p>Wondering, does Stanford send out confirmation letters to students after they have submitted their app? I still have not received any confirmation letters from Stanford yet. </p>

<p>They do. I submitted my application in mid-December, and I received my confirmation email about 7 days later. It contained information on how to check the status of my application and log-in to their admissions website. When did you submit your application?</p>
<p>My S has not received a mail either. He submitted 12/31.</p>
<p>I think that may be due to the fact that school isn’t currently in session at Stanford, so the admissions office is closed. I think they return on the 8th, but I’m not entirely sure.</p>
<p>Last year I submitted mine on the deadline and got confirmation roughly a week later.</p>
<p>I just got my confirmation today and I sent in my app on the 29th of December. So I guess it takes roughly around a week to get it.</p>

<p>S got his today too, along with a note that his SAT scores had not been sent… oops.</p>
