No CS Class In My High School

While this thread is nearly pointless I'm going to point out that I just started computer class this semester and I didn't realize that it was going to be Excel and Word and all of that crap. I want to learn how to develop software as soon as possible but My school doesn't offer it. What do I do? Is there a website I could easily learn?

It includes video lectures, problem sets, and a final. https://www.edx.org/course/harvardx/harvardx-cs50x-introduction-computer-1022

[Learn to code | Codecademy](http://www.codecademy.com/) This site offers a less formal approach. It has introductory courses in a variety of languages.

These are just two examples. There are tons of tutorials, courses, guides, etc. on the Internet.

ITunes U has some good courses by reputable universities.
If you don’t have an ios device, you can still install itunes on computer and access it that way. Good luck.
