Okay, I know we aren't supposed to look too deep into requests from the Financial Aid office, however, I just got one dated March 24th. I'm OOS and I still have yet to hear from my decision but do you guys know from year's past if getting a request for Fin Aid this close to notification signifies anything? Or do they do this for every applicant? I do not want to read too much into this but the same thing happened on Monday for URichmond and then yesterday I received an acceptance.

well i’m instate and i got a quality assurance letter from the financial aid office a while ago and then i got wait listed…so idk

Yeah I did too, and I sent the stuff in. Now, they are requesting more information…

I got that same thing, I’m a transfer though. I don’t know if it signifies anything, but the way the letter was phrased made it sound like they had already accepted me, haha (probably just reading too far into it). It said something like “We need this financial aid info so we can give you your reward”

That was how mine was worded. I was ultimately accepted. I wouldn’t say it means you’re 100% for sure accepted, but it can’t be BAD news by any means to get this. Good luck! :)

am i the only one who still hasn’t received anything from wm as far as a decision?

W&M posted around April 11th last year. They promise to have letters out by April 15th at the latest.

Well, I’m a transfer applicant and they say they won’t be releasing decisions until mid April for us.
