So Day 2 of Stanford Admit Weekend is moving to the nightttime hours. D has to take a few hours off to perform in the school play, and then will go back. Much good new data, but we have an extension until Monday afternoon so no decision. Just an update for anyone who is wondering. Will check back in with more meditative and illuminative communication later. Oh, and if not that, at least more detail:)

Good luck, Aumother... I know how much this decision must be on your mind! Here's hoping it might even come before Monday! (Either way, she can't go wrong... such wonderful choices.)

I'm so glad that your D is getting the new data she needs to move toward her decision! I hope she's truly enjoying the Stanford Admit Weekend! It's weird, what with where we live, to think of your being close enough to Stanford for her to take a couple of hours and perform in her school play! We are so far from either coast that it is amazing to me. At any rate, tell her to "break a leg", but in light of overanxious mom's son's poor broken ankle, please add my usual "but not really!" Keep us posted on her most current thoughts and of course, when she decides in a couple of days! love, ~berurah

Yeah, having a son (who's an actor to boot) w/a "bionic ankle" (titanium plate & 5 screws) still in the fresh-healing phase gives new meaning to the term "break a leg"!!!!

GOod luck w/your D's decision...as you know, she can't make a bad one...tell her not to forget the follow-up stuff...my S finally settled on Cornell just 4 days ago--and tonight we discovered (quite by accident) that his housing app is due tomorrow! Fortunately, they took the app online (but what an adrenaline rush to realize, at 8 p.m., that we had to get the app in "right now!")...maybe knowing she may have to immediately deal w/housing decisions will hasten her school choice?

Good luck again...and more power to her; she sounds like a great kid!
