I applied as an early action applicant and was informed that admissions decisions will be mailed by Dec. 25. However, I have still received no word of my decision and am beginning to become worried that my application was not processed. I understand that the east coast is having a lot of weather right now and it may be difficult to send mail all the way to the west coast. Should I call admissions at this point or continue to wait?
"Students planning to enroll in January
-Admission decisions will be sent via email by December 15th.
Students planning to enroll in September
-Early Action Admission decisions will be mailed by December 25th.
-Regular Admission decisions will be released by April 1st.
-Transfer Admission decision for Fall will be by May 31st."
I applied early action and would be enrolling in September
If you have yet to receive a physical piece of mail from Boston College, you have either been deferred or denied as they no longer send out rejection or deferral letters. Your early action admissions decision was emailed on the evening of December 14th to the email address you supplied through the common application and the release has been documented by numerous threads on this site for the past few weeks. I’d suggest calling the admissions office on Monday to make sure your application was read Early and not for regular decision.
Thanks for the help but I just found my decision of deferral. I completely misunderstood what was posted on the portal but I still appreciate you guys trying to help me.
