Well, I do not have any decision. How could this be? Wrote to an admissions counselor and they said that not all decisions were ready? I sent up all my material in sept, 2011 and there is no decision. I also sent up my senior ist semester grades. Both transcripts were received.

She said that I should know in a week or so.

She also said that your transcript wasnt received until 1/17/12 and I wrote back and told her that there are two transcripts there. Its so upsetting to wait all this time and be in limbo. Of course im thinking the worst, like they totally forgot my application and now they can do nothing but reject me.

Hghschjunior, the same thing happened two years ago to a girl at my daughter’s school. Everyone else had their decisions, and there was no reason why she shouldn’t have had hers since she had gotten everything in on time. I don’t know what admissions eventually told her had happened, but I do know that she got her decision about two weeks later and she got in! Hang in there, and I hope you get good news soon :)

I am still waiting to hear back from admissions as well. I had everything in on time and I even checked awhile back to make sure and they told me I was all set. I’ve been so anxious to hear back and now I have to wait even more. Making me nervous because I am thinking the worst too.

This is nuts…my stuff was in by September 12th. all of it…I sent a few more scores in for my november sat but that shouldnt matter. How could this happen to me.

i first called the admissions office but they of course didnt answer, so i emailed them and the assistant director of admissions replied saying that my application cant be fully reviewed because apparently by high school transcript is incomplete because they are mssing my 9th-11th grades. Im really frustrated and confused because when i look online it says not only did they receive my current courses in progress, but also my regular high school transcript! how was i supposed to know it was supposedly incomplete if it says it was received online?! and why didnt any of the other colleges i applied to have this problem? anyway despite that this seems fishy, i was able to pull strings and contact my guidance counselor and she is going to resend my transcript first thing monday morning, so all i can do is anxiously wait, and hope that this doesnt ruin my chances in some way.

its not at all unheard of for high school guidance counselors to completely **** up and not have you find out until after decision day. there generally is no recourse for these situations. i don’t know of this happening with anyone who applied to UF, but i’ve heard it happen elsewhere.

Last year, I knew around 17 people who had no decision like yourself. Do you any of you by chance have a significant number of Dual Enrollment Credits??

If your application with all the necessary documents was submitted in time, you probably got deferred and waitlisted. Someone I know was deferred and waitlisted last year.
