I thought it was strange when I didn't get an email saying that I registered successfully on University of Chicago. But I decided to put it off because the school sent the transcripts by mail, and it may take a while for them to receive it. Now it's a week untill decisions are due and I'm freaking out. Should I call the admissions office to check on my status? Or did I fail to apply early?

Check your spam folder. For some reason those e-mails often go to spam accounts, especially if you’re using a service other than Gmail. If not, e-mail your area counselor and we’ll make sure you’re all set with an account with us.

I didn’t receive an email either and I thought my UChicago stuff was all turned in in October…My UChicago account shows that everything has been received though…what does that mean and what should I do?

Unfortunately, if it did end up in the spam folder, it’s long gone since hotmail auto-deletes spam mails after 30 days. So should I ask my counselor how I can get the email with my ID and password for applying to Chicago?

Actually, just got word on what to do with this-- email collegeadmissions@uchicago.edu with your issue and one of our counselors will take care of it tomorrow.
