I'll apply UC Berkely, UCLA, Umich, Cornell, NYU
whoever says I won't make in any of them tell me your address, I will send you a postcard PLUS a dollar bill with washington's head on it (O.O), when I am rejected by that school.

and I'll have 11 AP's by the time I graduate

hey...what does bump do?

You have a bump? Gross.

like...bump bump??

HA! soooo everyone thinks I can get in all of them right? thot so... actuallly..i didn't..that's why iam here O.o

Todd@!!! you!!! um....bro? have any comments?

You have absolutely no ECs? If that is the case, you wont get into any of those colleges. They crave well-rounded individuals, and if you can only boast an amazing SAT score and GPA, they won't be impressed. Now if you have no ECs because you work 50 hours a week to support your family, then they'll understand, but besides that it just shows laziness and a lack of motivation outside of school.

lol...Laziness...When I just came here I couldn't get out of ESL English because I made a 6 out of 100 on English section in a weird standarized test... I studied till my blood ran out of my head...

Hey fool,

You will get into every one of those, except maybe Cornell. Most of those are state schools and therefore stat oriented. BUT if you had sweet ECs you'd be HYPS level, and in at Cornell, Duke, Penn and the other Ivies. So dont be so proud, you knocked yourself down a couple levels.

Well..not absolutely no EC. I have 90 volunteer hours. I am a member in math and computer club. I also got an award from a piano audition. but compare to you all's EC...These just equal 0 =/

I'm just saying, colleges want to see individuals actively involved, in school and out of school.. if you have no ECs, then your application will suffer..

But hey, you could still get in.

Thanks you all =D

um...um...>_<... How about Duke??? am I too delusional?

My advice, found a club quickly. Do something. Maybe it will help you get into Cornell (now a reach)

and.. Would Cal tech even take my application fee??

I've been in tha math club my whole life in U.S. (since about three years ago). I went to AMC every year, the first part was easy, the second part was just impossible...anyways. I am in National Honor Society since last year. And I thot about joining more clubs quickly, so I joined computer science club. o yeah...I also went to play piano for elder people in the community..that's about all. Omg...Do I sound like a nerd?? My life is not grades!!! It's basketball!!! b-ball is more important to me than my damn bleeding head!!

=D ha! this place is fun...but...still no cornell??

So...for the sections asking about awards/activities/ECs, you put absolutely nothing? You don't even have a hobby like knitting or something you can slap on?

And i'm surprised by your only being in the U.S. for three years thing. Somehow, you still managed to do quite well on the SAT verbal, which is usually brutal for foreigners.

Have you been studying English outside of the U.S.? Or did you only start learning the language when you came to America?

I am well rounded!!! LOL!! and desperate, but seriously! I am well rounded!! I am good at sports! it shouldn't be shocking right? I can play piano, I can draw, I can also write good Chinese, and eat fast, and sleep fast, and, and I , I am well rounded!!! people, you need to believe me~~~
