No ED, Questions a/b Admissions

Since USC doesn't have an ED plan, do they typically mail out acceptance letters to the people that submitted their applications earliest? I plan on submitting mine in late October, so if I were to be accepted, would I receive the letter before April 1?

Just curious, thanks.

If you apply by Dec, you'll be considered for scholarships and you might be notified of acceptance as early as February. Otherwise I'd say mid-march/april.

If you recieve a scholarship, you will be notified around early late January/early February. If you do not recieve a scholarship, you will find out after that, sometime in March. When you find out in March does not depend on when you submitted your application. I found out in early March, my friend found out the last week of March. Both of us were accepted. She submitted her application in October, and I submitted mine about 20 minutes before the scholarship deadline in December, so it doesn't really matter when you submit it. Most people find out before April 1, the last wave this year, which was mainly rejections, was sent out around the first week of April.

they do send the acceptances in waives- not based on who submits their apps early but based on "strength"- ppl up for trustee hear first, then pres, etc etc. starts in late january and goes to april.
