<p>Im only taking two years of foreign language because my counselor messed my schedule from the get go and Im taking other classes that fit with trying to go premed.....</p>
<p>But the thing is I speak four other languages... yoruba- nigerian, igbo- most known nigerian language, swahili, and english... do you think my knowledge in other languages will take the weight off my lack of foreign languages taken at school....</p>

<p>i think you'll be fine. if you can't take foreign language classes because of scheduling conflicts, then colleges will understand. but you have to make sure to EXPLAIN that to them...thankfully there is a place on the application where you can add any extra information that you would like for colleges to know. you can use this space to explain why you couldn't take 3+ years of foreign language. i am 100% sure this space exists on the common application (which most good colleges accept) and on other applications there is usually space too. go on commonapp.org and download the common app forms--you will see what i am referring to.</p>
<p>p.s. the fact that you speak 4 languages is really cool! indicate that on your app too!</p>
