I’ve seen many posts saying that people have received their ELC notifications as early as the 1st or 2nd week of September. Is it normal to have not received it at this point?

i got mine on Oct. 1
look at this site:

https://www.ucelc.org/ucschoolstatus/school_status_search.htm

Thanks, I actually checked that site a while back and it said “Final Processed - ELC Students” But now there’s something new added that says “School Reports being reviewed.” I guess that means it’s a ‘one last look’ kind of thing?

Mine says the same thing. I’m curious as to what’s going on…

There is a field that will show up on the site a bit later in the process: “Date Student Packets Sent”. Once this showed up, my daughter got her letter the next day.

I believe that once you see “School Reports Being Reviewed”, this means the schools have been notified of the top 4% and have 2 weeks to challenge the result. After 2 weeks are up with no challenge, the letters go out.

camathmom u said the exact same thing i was gonna post
lol

Man, two more weeks? Oh well. I also have another question. For UC’s, I’m applying to LA, Cal, Irvine, and San Diego. So since Irvine is on the list of campuses guaranteed by ELC, even if I don’t get into LA (top choice out of every school), Berkeley, or San Diego, I can FOR SURE get accepted into Irvine since I’m in ELC right? I’m not really confident in my stats about getting into a top tiered school and would feel so much better if I knew Irvine was a guarantee.

Yes, if you are ELC you are guarenteed acceptance to Irvine PROVIDED that you are not applying to one of the excluded majors like engineering. Irvine exludes certain majors from the ELC guarantee.
