<p>Is it usual for Columbia to take a while to send a "confirming" email, or something of the sort? I've gotten them from every other place I applied to. I'm not really worried; I know I submitted everything correctly and by the deadline. I'm just kind of curious as to why they take so much longer.</p>

<p>If I remember correctly when I applied it took a while to get the email with information on tracking, if that’s what you’re talking about.</p>

<p>I got mine like 2-3 days later and I applied on Jan 1. Just to be sure that they really DID get it, check your common app and see if they downloaded your app, that seems to matter more than the email right now. and maybe its in your spam folder…??</p>
<p>Yeah…says it was downloaded on the 23rd of December. Supplement and Payments say complete, as they do for every other school. Email is correct on commonapp and supplement. Nothing in my spam folder. I’m not worried since everything seems in order. Strange nonetheless.</p>
<p>oh ok. but I think you should call the office if you don’t receive it this week or something since that email contains your Columbia ID, stuff like that and that’s kinda important.</p>
