On CC I've seen that many have gotten an email from Exeter whether they were accepted or not. I have yet to recieve an email informing me of my admission decision. Does anyone know why this is? Also, when do Exeters acceptance packages come?

Check your spam folder and the package should come some time this week. I really hope it comes today, I’m so excited!

I suggest you call the admissions office. I recieved an email, and it seems like everyone else did as well.

@turtlee, was there more than one email address on your application (yours, one or both parents)? We had been expecting the email to come to my son’s email, but it actually came to mine. Check all the addresses with which you’ve contacted the school or listed (and their spam/junk folders). Beyond that, I would call the AO.

Did you get an email in January confirming the application was complete?

@booklady123 I did get an email confirming that my app was complete. I checked all our family emails, junk folder, everything. I’m going to wait until Friday to see what happens.

I don’t think you can contact them until the 15th, which is actually Saturday, which means you’ll have to wait until Monday. Don’t quote me on it, but isn’t that a TSAO agreement?

Update: I received a call from the admissions office. They asked for my physical address. I need to knowwwwww. Do you think it’s like, a bad thing they needed my address? Do they send rejection letters? @needtoboard @exeterbunny @booklady123

@stargirl3 I believe you’re right. Oh well :(

@turtleee they don’t mail rejections so congratulations!

@needtoboard really?? Thank you!

@needtoboard how do you know that they don’t send rejection letters?

I know someone who was rejected and he said that he was not mailed a letter (he lives fairly close to the school).

My dd was accepted at Exeter via email, and then today she received a package of materials in the mail.

I haven’t gotten a physical rejection. I kind of want one, just to make sure they did in fact email the right person…
