I believe I know the answer to this question but: can you put on your application that you babysit? and what about if you drive your siblings around everywhere?

that's what i'm wondering too.

what about a regular tutoring job?

Yes, you can put down any kind of paid employment including tutoring, house cleaning , yard work, babysitting.

If you have major responsibilities at home such as having to take care of younger siblings every afternoon while your parents are at work, you can mention this. It counts as an EC, and colleges will understand why you don't have much time for other kinds of ECs.

Yes for babysitting, no for driving around siblings.

Driving your siblings isn't an EC. A lot of kids with cars have to do this regardless. I don't have a car. I think it's worse not having a car.

If driving around your siblings takes up most of your time after school lets out -- such as if you have to pick up your sibs from their schools and then deliver them to various ECs and then take them home -- then that would count as having major responsibilities equivalent to an EC.
