No extracurricular activities

I have absolutely no extracurricular activities. What are my chances of getting into an Ivy league if I manage above 2200 in SAT and a really good score in school?
Will joining the student council help? (Not very possible just asking)

In the US nearly all students have many EC opportunities. A student who shows no interest in or aptitude for anything outside of class is not likely to be selected for top schools. Outside the US circumstances vary, so the same general rule does not always apply.

Most likely, it wouldn’t do very well…Consider the people you are competing with/against for a spot in those Ivies! They are those achieving students who are the president of a club, a vice president of another club, founder of this activity, plays 2/3 varsity sports, 200+ hours of community service, valedictorian, etc. You wouldn’t match up very well against them, even if you get a perfect SAT and ACT.

I am an indian we don’t have any extra activities (the ones that we have are stolen by the popular kids) so what if I aim for NYU?
btw thanks for your replies :)

@aspire03 What do you mean you’re an ‘Indian’? Native American? Currently living in India, Indian living in the United States currently?

And I’m sure that not ALL the EC are stolen by the ‘popular’ kids! EC don’t have to be student council, it can be volunteering, joining a sport, being in art club, etc. It doesn’t have to be something that requires ‘popularity’, in fact, most EC I can think of do not involve popularity at all!
