I was accepted into Cal Poly Pomona late May and faxed over my dependent verification sheets and all those type of things. I've been checking my financial aid only to see "You have no financial aid awards available for viewing in this aid year." I find this a bit odd since I had a FAFSA EFC of 01595 and had a message "Based on your EFC of 01595, you may be eligible to receive a Federal Pell Grant of up to $4000 for the 2010-2011 school year." Yes I know it says, "may be eligible", but I didn't even see any Cal Grants on my financial aid page :( I was also accepted into UCM and I had Cal Grants and other things as well. It's worrying me how I'm receiving no aid from Cal Poly Pomona and I have no idea how I'm going to end up paying for my $19k tuition.

I sounds to me like they just may not have completed your financial aid package yet. It is late, though, so you should call the FA office on Monday. They can tell you the status of your award. And if there’s been some mistake, by phoning you will call their attention to it.

@'rentof2: Thank you for the quick and helpful response! I’m probably just stressing out too much, but I’m sure most people would about money lol.

Yes, call the FA office.

Have your FA award from UCM in hand when you call so that you can mention those numbers and/or fax it over to them.

Their awards should be similar to UCM’s - except Cal Poly won’t have Blue and Gold.

You should have your aid package by now for the fall, something is up there. Give 'em a call! I’m sure it’s a misunderstanding. My uni actually forgot to include my summer aid on my forms ::gulp!::.
