Hello,

While I was in high school, I was pretty much one of /those/ students who figured that foreign language classes in any year of high school was a waste of time due to the high probability of completely forgetting anything and everything you would have learned in that particular class/language, and in a short amount of time (unless one was really dedicated to learning a second language). From GACollege411 (a great website designed to guide people through the college process in Georgia) I was able to send my transcripts to several tech schools. I am hoping to major in computer engineering, but given my complete lack of foreign language credits since my graduation nearly two months back I doubt that I would be able to get into any 4-year in-state school.

Would community college be my only option? I ask because some community colleges within relative driving distance of where I live actually require a minimum of two years of foreign language. Is there something I can do to get in anyway besides sending them any test scores or transcripts (which may have to be done later anyway)?
