<p>I didn't get housing, I live near LA. I haven't even been to Berkeley and now I'm trying to sign up for private housing to rooms I've never even seen.</p>
<p>Although I'm at least happy that it's just for the fall semester...though I REALLY wanted to get dorms. :(</p>

I know part of the college experience is supposed to be taking care of things yourself but like... there is so much stress in trying to figure out what to do about housing, and the dorm people just seem annoyed whenever I email them and it's ridiculous becuase it's like we're being punished for being spring admits. Their website said that most FPF people would get dorms which is why I decided to do FPF but I want the dorm experiences from the start and if I would have known we wouldn't get dorms, I wouldn't have done FPF.</p>
<p>facebook marketplace has listings too. I don't know if they're very helpful...</p>

<p>But this also proves a point: last year someone called and housing said that it's very unlikely that they'll send out a second round of offers, but spots opened up anyway and quite a few people ended up with dorm housing. So, just wait and see.</p>
