No Gen Eds?

Please someone help me! D:<

I was just wondering is there a college in the Chicago land area where no Gen Eds are required?

I'm really interested in maybe a vocational/trade school that only focuses on purely the career I wish to pursue.

I absolutely love animals, but I heard veterinarian is really hard to get into and Veterinary Technician doesn't pay you well. . . like $14.00. I can't live on that!
~ I thought maybe if I was a Vet Tech that specialized in dentistry I could be paid more. . . but I'm so confused right now.

I'll even be open to go into nursing, but I can't seem to find a school. . . all I see is gen eds. . . so depressed.

Please anyone... advice?

I don’t know the specifics of Chicago or vet work. However, check out community colleges. They often have an Associate’s degree in “applied science” which would get right to the vocational stuff and skip MOST of the gen ed requirements. Search for “associate of applied science”.

It’s good that you’re looking to see what kind of jobs pay well or poorly; you may find that you need a four-year degree in order to meet your income requirements.
