as i attend a British school, i don't have a GPA but i do have the IB and SAT scores. Is that ok or do i NEED one? :/

well in Most school period they look at your SAT score and GPA so you have two strikes agenst you

But there is always and alternative HOLD YOUR HEAD UP :D

i have done my SATs though, just don’t have a GPA ![]()
is the IB diploma not enough?

lifehouse - I believe your grades are reported as a percentage, correct? So your reports look something like Science 92% etc.??? You don’t have a gpa, but you do (I suspect) have grades. UC will undoubtedly use those to arrive at a gpa estimate to compare you fairly to other candidates.

not really, to be honest we only get percentages like that etc, for IB stuff which will all go towards our predicted grade for the IB. This is common in all british schools i believe and some international

Students from British schools are accepted (and rejected) every year. The admissions staff knows how to deal with this. They will look at your recommendations and your predicted IB scores, and, quite likely, evaluate you relative to other kids from British schools.

ah ok, thanks :)

Lifehouse I’m an ib student too (have gotten into penn ED) and for us gpa is not a prerequisite they know the ideal ib scores. Chill

ah alright thanks, haha just looking for a bit of confirmation :)
