in my int'l school during frosh. year, there were no honors classes whatsover.

now in soph year, i moved here and there's no way i ever knew about "Honors" Classes. plus, since there was no way i knew abou these classes, i never asked my teachers of frosh. year to write any recommendations.

would no-APs-and-honors classes situation during frosh or soph year affect my image for colleges? (im soph. finishing my semester)

I never took AP classes until junior year, and certainly not to the extent that other users on this forums did.
Plus, if your school didn't have any honors classes, than I don't think a college looking at your application could possibly hold you responsible for not taking classes that never existed.
My two cents

You have a lot of UCs on your list so I am assuming your from CA? If you are don't worry about it. The UC already keep track of the classes offered at CA high schools (it makes filling the application out a lot easier). And if your school doesn't offer honors and APs for underclassmen, it can't hurt you.

My high school in Southern CA didn'n offer honors at all, (accept for one english class) and with the exception of AP Comp. Pol. APs were only for juniors and seniors.

Our California H.S. doesnt offer AP or Honors classes until your Junior year.... we have kids going to MIT, West Point, Yale, Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, Princeton etc... you'll be fine!
