No Housing after first year?

I heard that you don’t get guranteed housing for all four years, and you aren’t even guaranteed for more than a year. Is this true?

I believe that's true.

you arent guaranteed housing, but its still possible. i know a few people on my floor who arent freshmen.

also, after your first year of dorming, youll probably want to move out anyways

Yeah. You can still live in dorms if you want to. But no one ever wants to. Everyone gets apartments with their buddies.

Since the dot com bust, housing in berkeley has eased quite a bit. There are also the coops which are inexpensive off-campus housing. The dorm costs at CAL are higher than any of the other UCs.

Cal dorms= RIPPEDDDD OFFFF

Is Stanford the only major university in the San Francisco Bay Area with guaranteed housing for four years? How can they afford that?

Because no one wants to live in Palo Alto, unless they have to. Theres a reason its called "The Farm". Nearby San Jose is like 90% married couples, and the singles scene in San Jose is like 70% male. LOLZ

You can live in the dorms for all four years if you like at Berkeley. Especially nowadays with all that extra dorms built. Its just that no one wants to.

Nobody wants to live in Palo Alto? How about nobel prize winning profesors and CEOs of Silicon Valley companies who graduated from Stanford. The property values there are soaring.

Berkeley probably cannot guarantee housing because there are so many bums taking up space.

Berkeley probably cannot guarantee housing because there are so many bums taking up space.>>>>>>>

HOOKED ON PHONICS.

I said no one wants to live there UNLESS THEY HAVE TO. Meaning, they must for work, school, etc... I know Berkeley students that refuse to move out of Berkeley, even though they graduated 4-6 years ago and they work in San Francisco. Now that says a lot about a University and how much they love it there.

palo alto is divided into the good and the bad side. theres literally a bridge that separates the two areas.

I could say the same for Berkeley/Oakland. Your point being?

Say weren't there like 200 murders in Oakland since last year alone?

Say weren't there like 200 murders in Oakland since last year alone?>>>>>>

I dunno. You can make the same argument for East Palo Alto, New Haven, Los Angeles, New York, etc...

BTW, what race are you? And what state and school did you go to? I find your racist remark calling Mayasoshi Son the name of "More Sushi" to be highly racist and offensive.

I am guessing that you are white and from the midwest. Am I correct?

Actually I am Asian-American and I live in San Francisco, CA. I find your political correctness to be stifling man.

Yea right your Asian. Anyways, you can't be more than 10 years old. Didn't mommy put a lock on your internet this late at night?

Yeah I'm Asian-American. Have you read any of Iris Chang's books? Rape of Nanking should explain everything.

Mayasoshi Son is an ethnic Korean who grew up in Japan. Anyways, I never read that book.

Moresushi can still kiss my ass.

Yea, wutevers white boy. Go back to Wisconsin ****in racist bastard. Your kind should stay in the forest and mountains and never come out into civilized society.

I am not white you moron. I am Asian-American and I am simply poking fun at myself because I don't feel like political correctness is a good thing.
