lines. now get the **** out of my way you damn kids blocking Sather Gate. Why don't you go waste your time elsewhere instead of forcing me to go around?

Where were you the other day when Sather Gate was blocked by a bunch of menacing black ninjas?
None of us had the gut to yell get the **** out of my way.

time to study for physics. but i went up to them and they were so excited that i was going to join and i was like…uhh no. Let me through. lol. Were there really ninjas? Lulzy.

I wouldn’t call them Ninja (GET IT RIGHT), but it was literally a wall of black men and women, wearing all black, with black veils covering their mouths.

insert Wheel of Time reference here

^^ get what right?

I don’t like this protesting. Skip classes in order to protest that we don’t get enough classes and other resources? seem counterintuitive.

Were those black people or just generally protests? I mean those black union are pointless.

They were black panthers…

Like we are ever gonna listen to those black kids say

As students, staff and faculty throughout the UC system took part in today’s “day of action,” the level and intensity of activity varied widely from campus to campus. At some, protests were escalating as the day progressed.

According to news reports, several hundred students at UC Davis were in a tense faceoff with police in riot gear, who used tear gas in an attempt to disperse the crowd near an entrance ramp to Interstate 80. A library at UC Irvine was reportedly briefly occupied by protesters, while at UCLA, protesters entered an administration building, demanding to see the chancellor.

Protesters barricaded the Santa Cruz campus early this morning. Due to concerns about safety, UCSC officials advised students, staff and faculty to stay away from the main campus for the rest of the day.

Protesters were said to be several hundred strong at UC San Diego. At Merced, the number was closer to a dozen.

Yeah, seems like we’re lucky compared to the other UC’s.

you’ll notice that UC MeRcEd doesn’t have any drama queens who b i t c h and moan every time something isn’t PC.

“now get the **** out of my way you damn kids blocking Sather Gate. Why don’t you go waste your time elsewhere instead of forcing me to go around?”

Next time, say it to their faces. Through a bullhorn.
Then I’d be (somewhat) impressed.

^ That can’t happen. The Batman can’t expose his identity

i’d be more impressed if you dressed up as a white ninja and did the power ranger transform move in front of them

It wasn’t just UCs, community colleges, CSUs, high middle and elementary schools participated too.

It would have been much better if they all spent the day getting signatures for the California Democracy Act initiative that Prof. Lakoff has started instead of causing such chaos…

The initiative (if it gets on the ballot and passes) would reduce the the 2/3rds majority budget/tax law to 50%+1, so the Republicans (who hold a 37% superminority) can no longer block education funds

Shoulda got a huge group to dress in full out red (Blood) and blue (Crips). Epicness would’ve happened. Then get together and be like Hell Nah they’re not taking over berkeley.

Oh yeah, that’s a good idea. Then we can be all taxed through the culo by the dems and the state can float away into insolvency.

But hey, at least the entitlement syndrome youth will get funded.

I really see no problem with getting taxed in order to invest in our future as a state
