Hello CCers, I live in Florida, just looking to go into schools like USF, FSU, UCF, etc. USF will be my top choice since it's in my area. I'm not looking to get into a top ranked school like UF. I am not planning to go out of state anytime soon. I am going to be a senior next year and I think I have good enough grades for these schools (3.75 GPA unweighted) took most honors courses, going to take 3 APs (econ, calc, bio) next year and 1-2 dual enrollment (comp and/or world religions) and 2-3 electives. I got mostly A's. My SAT which I took for the first time in June is 1380. I tried studying but it wasn't much and it was last minute. I was so nervous and stressed too and didn't get to finish a lot of questions. I will study for it as much as I can this summer as well as for the ACT in October.

EXTRACURRICULARS: I have only volunteered in one place that I started mid junior year at a clothing charity place and have just about 60 hours so far to finish 75 hours this summer for Bright futures. Although I wanted to join Key Club, National Honor Society (because I didn't want to write a 500 word essay, I am sorry I hate writing..:( and I didn't think it was worth it), National Science Honor Society (which I mistaked the deadline for but I wanted to be in that club really bad! Will enter next year) Out of all that, I only was in one club which was Mu Alpha Theta but wasn't actively participating in it mostly because the meetings were after school (I don't drive until mid senior year. I didn't want to make my parents drive me 30 minutes to school and back although they wanted me to go to this school because they had a good special ed program for my Autistic brother and it's an A grade school so I could go to a good school with my brother.) And the guy didn't seem to care if we showed up or not. So pretty much my extracurricular is just volunteering at a clothing charity.

Should I try and bump up my extracurriculars for my senior year or even this summer? Or is this enough just as it is? I know I will join clubs next year like NSHS, Key Club, and one other (I just don't know yet). I might try and volunteer at a hospital just to get some experience.
Thanks
