No Idea Where to Start

I'm a rising sophomore at Northwestern this fall and I have about two weeks before school starts. I think I would be a good candidate, but I just have no idea how to go about the search. Officially I have no financial need so that limits my options but I have been using a combination of loans, parental contributions, and my own work savings to pay for school.

I am a psychology major and planning on a minor in either spanish or religion. I am pre-med as well. My GPA after my first year is 3.954 and I have done research on marriage this past summer. I am starting in a new psychology lab this fall and I also work as a counselor in the career services office. I have done volunteer work with a variety of organizations in Evanston and Chicago as well.

If anyone could offer me some insight into the process or suggest some specific scholarship programs I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

I think you're going to find that most or all scholarships are closed for this year. Suggest you start with the scholarship sticky at the top of the page and use a compiled service that allows you to customize the search for your interests, location, and educational background! Also try Google for loan forgiveness programs available to medical people - there are several. Good luck!

I would try fastweb.com and also check out this:

Great thanks for the info
