I applied to a 7-year MA/medical program, and I never got an interview. Does this mean that I’m automatically rejected?

of course not! dont worry!

Sorry to say, I think if you did not get notified of BU wanting interview after end of February, it is not too likely that you got in. The admission office called less than half of the people in for interview to consider them for admission. To the best of my knowledge, no interview = no acceptance. Sorry....

Correct me if I'm wrong!!

I'm not sure if it depends on the program, but I was never called for an interview and I was just accepted with a nice merit scholarship.

hey spiraloflife Congratulations!! :) was it for the 7 year medical program?
If it is, I wanna tell my friend not to give up hope too!

No, it was just for the college of engineering. Like I said, I don't know if the program makes a difference. And thanks :)

No interview = rejection.

I'm sorry. I'm sure you got into BU regular undergrad tho!

kpphy, are you positive about that or are you merely speculating?

Yes, interview = finalist. I was admitted today.

not to sound antagonistic, but what's the source of this information?

uuh bulletproof...they told us if we got the interview...then we're finalists being considered for the program. So if you didn't get it....

Hip. There just tends to be a lot of blatantly incorrect information on CC regarding interviews.

Kpphy is telling the truth. Sorry to hear man.

Oh, I didn't apply to that program, nor do I really want to go to BU. It's all good.
