So I feel like this has already been answered, but I couldn't find the post or thread.
Does it mean anything at all if I had not gotten an interview Early Action, but just received an interview request today? Another one of my friends who did not get an interview EA has not gotten an interview yet for RD.
I feel like I'm reading in to this too much, but then again I'm anxious about the whole process.

Although exceedingly difficult, try not to read anything into it. Interview assignment is almost always just a logistical thing w/the local volunteer group.

This is uncommonly insightful for a student applying to college, but it’s also you (and everybody else) in a nutshell. The waiting is absolutely crazy-making. But if you’re reading anything at all into this particular episode, you’re reading too much into it. As T26E4 says, it has to do only with the availability of volunteer alumni.

I have a similar question. I applied SCEA (was deferred) and I have not yet received an interview. The other applicant in my school who applied SCEA got one (during the early round), and I know at least two regular action applicants from my school received interviewers in early January. Is it weird that I haven’t been contacted? Maybe they forgot about me? :/
