While I know the interview isn’t a large part of the college admissions process, I still would like one so I can verbally express who I am. I have had interviews with every single college I applied to with the exception of one because they don’t offer them. I tried calling the admissions office, only to discover that the interview process is apparently over and that even though there is an alumni committee in my area (Connecticut), it is completely volunteer and interviewers don’t have to conduct them if they don’t feel like it. Is this absurd or what?

hi, well i am in a similar prob cos i still have not been called for interview either though i am from singapore..apparently no one i know in singapore has been called for interview yet either...

Hey, is anyone else here from Colorado? I am and have heard nothing from Penn about an interview, even though at the info session the woman in charge of interviews talked about how all applicants get one! Has anyone had or even been offered one, or am i just not special????????????????

hey ; im from philly & i didn't get called. :(

but i heard that not all applicants get interviewed.

selective interview?? i not sure but i think harvard does it too?? is it for bttr candidates only?? i really dunno but sure hope not!!!!

Had there not been an alumn in my area, I would have been more understanding about not having an interview. The fact that one exists and CHOOSES to not interview me really ****es me off though.

ya tts really bad...they dun wanna interview cos they dun feel like/claim no time or because it is selective??
