Am I the only one who applied Early Action and who hasn't been called for an interview yet?

ruh-roh, interview stuff was due in a while ago…it’s possible that GTown simply couldn’t schedule you one…where are you from?

If this is the case, no stress, you’re at no disadvantage.

Did they ever send you confirmation of receiving your personal data form?

You should have received an email with the contact information of your interviewer. Maybe you live in an area with an inactive alumni committee.

I’m in Southern California, so I’m sure they have a good alumni network here. The problem is, they probably have a lot of applicants from here, too.

Am I screwed? What’s the rule? Does a person have to have an interview before being accepted/denied/etc? Or do they just have to be interviewed at some time before they attend?

An interview for Georgetown is mandatory. I would definitely call tomorrow and ask what happened.

Yes, interviews are mandatory. They can technically make exceptions though based on extremely motivated students. Care to post your stats?

I had the same problem, you should definitely call the office! They said for EA they would do interviews as late as 2 weeks into November and luckily I got mine done in time but I had to call and email a lot and it turned out my info had not gone through their system yet which is why it was delayed. I also talked to a student there about the interviews when I visited in October and she said one of her friends got deferred from early b/c she didn’t get her interview done on time but she ended up getting in regular. It’s obviously not your fault so they can’t blame not having an interview on you, so just explain that to them when you call the office and try to work things out! Good luck!

I guess the interview is not mandatory. I got in.

Congratulations!
