My student sent his app in in late November/ early December, but still hasen't gotten an email about an interview yet. He called Admissions who told him he had been assigned a committee, and to email them asking for an interviewer contact. He did, and then again after a week after no reply, and still...nothing...what gives? Any advice as to what to do next? Georgetown is one of his top choices, but he can't seem to get the time of day from them. I don't understand it...

Anyone else having the same trouble? How did you resolve it? I thought everyone got assigned an interviewer pronto upon sending in part I of the app.

I sent in my part I I want to say in the beginning of October (late September maybe?) and was contacted for an interview in December. I had a phone interview in the middle of December. It seems to take some time for them to process everything so I wouldn’t worry too too much.

I sent my Part I near the middle of December and haven’t gotten anything yet, and I live in a pretty big city. I’m sure they’re just trying to sort everything out. Since yours was sent so early, maybe you could have him email them again as a reminder or call them somehow? Or maybe you just need to wait a while, I’m not sure. :/

Just got email for interview. thx

No one has contacted me yet. Should I email Georgetown?

I am international student, and right now I live in a country that I doubt Georgetown has many alumnus. I submitted my part 1 in august and I never got an email for interview. Should i contact them now?

Brouhahah, if you tell me (over PM, if you prefer) what the country is, I can tell you whether there is an AAP committee for that country and, if so, who the chair is. You could then email the chair. If there is no committee, you should assume that the interview has been waived.
