No interview

Ok…I still haven’t gotten an interview. But then, I’m an international student (Asian Subcontinent), so would that have anything to do with it? Or does the fact that they still haven’t contacted me about an interview mean that I did not make it past the first round?
They received my application on October 21st…

hey

what's 'subcontinent'?

I didn't get one. I'm far northeast

hm.. no worries.. the interview is by the alumni of your country.. so, if there's only few or inactive alumni, there won't be an interview. esp for international students.. it's not easy to get an interview.. as far as I know, none of my seniors got interviews.. (cos i think most of the alumni end up working in US) . so ya... it's not that u didn't get thru... i didn't get an interview too.. and im sure it's pretty much the case for most intels.

pepero - i just had to say this. did you know your username is a yummy little snack? lol, ok, inane comment done. ^_^

I'm a current Penn student, Class of 09. Coming from new york city, i was surprised that i wasn't contacted as soon as my classmates who were applying to other ivys. however, my interviewer contacted me two weeks past their interview deadline, saying it was OK if i didn't do one and that many ED applicants and even fewer regular decision applicants do it.

I'm southeast asian!...in america! lol. yea, i'm first generation here.
