is there a taste difference between pocky and pepero?

yes. pocky is usually dipped in something, like a strawberry flavored cream or something. pepero is usually just flavored as it is. (i dunno if that makes sense, but i didnt know how else to explain it lol)

hmmm really? the pocky and pepero that i eat are both already dipped. isn't yan yan the snack that has a separate dip? lol y am i caring about this..........

haha, yea, yan yan is the one that has a separate dip. by dip, i meant that pocky has the dip coating (does that make sense?? >_<) hmm, maybe there is some pepero with dip coating?? i dunno..i've never had any...lol

oo. huh. wow. lol, i've never had that before. that's interesting tho. personally, though, i like japanese snacks the best - even though the korean versions are basically the same. ^_^ my korean friends though usually eat the pepero that's just flavored - probably why i've never seen those before. have you ever had the snack of the chocolate mushrooms??

nope i dont think so. have you ever had the chocolate that looks like small rocks? so cool.

hmm, i might have...is it the one with both chocolate and strawberry flavor on one piece??

haha, i love how this thread has turned into a snack thread lol ^_^

wow.... this is the weirdest thing ever hahaha. we dont even eat the same types of asian snacks and yet we still find stuff to say about them :).

haha, yup yup. i've found that many conversations i have, especially on CC, are really random. lol. but also really fun ^_^ and asian snacks are asian snacks - we at least have an idea of what each is talking about lol

I so swear that if I get into penn, I'll buy the whole freshmen class 10 boxes of the best peperos in korea :)

So, yeh. they'd better admit me :) !

Chibiajiajin - I thought you were korean cause you kept using that ^-^ thing which is, I thought Korean :)

ahh, now i have another reason to want to go to penn: free pepero!! lol

haha, noo, i think most asians use the ^_^ smileys, but also one of my best friends is korean, and i take a lot of smiley ideas from her lol
