No interview

I was not offered an interview, should i be worried?

I haven't been offered an interview yet, either. I think we'll be fine.

me neither, and ive had cornell, yale, and i have brown and penn this week.

I haven't received an interview, but did receive a likely letter, so I don't think it's that much of an issue that you haven't been offered one (yet?)

I think only children of alumni get interviews. I didn't have an interview and I'm sitting in Carman right now working on lit hum

My son had an interview, and he has no legacy whatsoever. And he'll be sitting in Carman (or John Jay) in the fall.

You have time. Interviews run until March so they might just have a high volume of applicants.

Interviews are not always available--it depends on the number of alumni in the area in which you live. They are not an admissions factor and not getting one does not mean anything about how your application is viewed.

My next-door neighbor got an interview and so did my other friend. The neighbor didn't get in but the other one did. Since your stats don't determine if you get an interview it doesn't mean anything... I don't fully understand how they pick who to interview though. EVERY person applying Regular Decision in my town is getting an interview, and I can confidently say that none of them will get in because their grades aren't strong enough. I might be the only person from my school that applied that didn't get one, according to my friends.

If it helps, I got in Early Decision without an interview. It means nothing.

Do they use different interviewers for SEAS and CC? I have a friend who applied to CC RD and got an interview way in December, but I'm still hoping for an interview for SEAS.

My son's interviewer was a SEAS graduate. My son is going to CC.

Nope, I think the deadline is sometime this week. Not sure though. I should look it up because I have some to do.

Great, now CU students are posting misinformation on here. How dangerous.

All Interview reports are due by 2/22

I'm legacy and wasn't offered an interview. Others at my school were.

Oh well?
