<p>D applied to Yale SCEA and still doesn't receive alumni contact for interview. It seems there will be no interview for her. we understand not having interview will not be held against you. But we just wonder is there anyone here on CC who doesn't get contact for interview?</p>
<p>I have yet to/apparently will not receive one. But I’m an international who lives about an hour away from any alumni.</p>

<p>I also haven’t gotten an interview, and there are a lot of alums in my region. It is not supposed to be held against you if you were not contacted, but I think my parents are going to speak to the head of the Yale interviewing in my city, with whom they are friends.</p>

a guy i know who got accepted got contacted like by the 22nd or something and his interview was on the 27th so i’m still kinda hoping that they will contact me and give me an interview</p>
<p>I didn’t receive an interview yet and I know alumni personally that live near me.</p>
<p>Just because alumni live by you doesn’t mean that they’ll interview you. Some alumni don’t volunteer to interview. I know that my interviewer specifically said that he wouldn’t interview people from the city he lived in so maybe you guys have similar people.</p>

<p>Last year all chinese applicants accepted through SCEA are interviewed. so it seems having an interview would really help.</p>
