I applied to SUNY Oneonta early action and didn’t recieve a response yet. I checked the VIP page which contains a checklist of what has to be sent. Everything was checked yet now they have added a box for mid year grades.
Do you think this could mean I was accepted? Don’t want to excite myself too much! Emailed the admissions counselor but just wanted to ask CC quickly!
In my mind, it would mean that they are simply waiting for your midyear grades to admit you.
I agree with the above post. They could be waiting for mid year grades before they made an admissions decision. If it is past the time you should have heard back, then contacting the college directly (as you have done) is appropriate.
I would interpret that as not rejected, but I wouldn’t assume it means accepted yet. You’re definitely still in the running though. Good luck.
