No Love for AP World?

I've seen precious little about AP World History here - is this because ap world is comparatively easy orbecause nobody cares about it? I'm taking it, only soph ap at my school. My entire class is exceptionally nervous about the exam. The man who was supposed to teach us passed away over the summer (great man, may he rest in peace). A fairly young teacher new to ap replaced him, so all of us have major doubts in the backs of our minds. Any advice/reassurance?

read the textbook and read the review book…

I didn’t study for the test at all, all we did in class was watch movies. Got a 4. Only 5-6 in my class got 4’s. The other 50-60 classmates got 2’s, 3’s.

HW was having weekly worksheets. They had to be uber detailed.

On the day of the test, I wrote a 9 essay for the DBQ (they give you points if you meet certain requriements, I nailed them all) and wrote one paragraph essays for my other 2 FRQ prompts since I didn’t know diddly squat about them. I drew a batman logo on one of the FRQs.

World History is memorization. You know it, or you don’t. Good luck :].

how hard is this thing? i have a good teacher but i only got a 4 on the practice ap test… I got 48 / 70 correct on MC and did ok on the essays
i have been studying but not enough

World History is not memorization, zerodyne. Especially the material covered in APWH. There is so much more to it, including understanding major themes and shifts, etc. You should know this if you took the exam.

All I can recommend to prepare is just read through a review book. Don’t cram or anything; pace yourself and read enough each day so that you will be done a couple of days before the exam. DON’T study the night before the exam.

Is it true that they are completely reformatting the test for next year?
