No major GPA. Do I calculate it myself?

Hi Everyone,

I am submitting my master’s applications soon and they all involve a ‘major GPA’ component other than than the cumulative GPA one. While my university provides a cumulative GPA, it does not provide a major GPA. So I am calculating it myself. Is it correct to calculate my major GPA based on around 15 courses that were all related to my major?

Sounds about right to me. The schools will have your transcript as well, so they can recalc if they see fit.
