No Math IIc SAT II

I'm applying RD to Stanford, and though I read that they recommend the Math IIC SAT II over the summer, by then I decided I was done with the SATs (took SAT once in March and Sat IIs in 9th and 10th grade) so I wasn't going to take math IIC. I feel that I have stong credentials (I know that this still doesn't guarantee much) but my attitude is basically if they like me enough they'll take me, and if they really care that much about one test, then oh well.

I am very good at math and plan to major in either economics or industrial engineering. Right now I'm in AP Calc BC, wrote one of my short essays about math research and got 760 on SAT math and 720 on Math Ic (these aren't outstanding scores I know, but oh well).

Anyway, I'm just wondering how mcuh not taking the MAth IIC will affect me. Like if anyone knows someone who got in without it or something to that effect.

If you plan on majoring in either economics or industrial engineering..not taking the Math IIC might hinder your chances of getting in. I don't really know how much they care about it, but if they suggest it, well..it would proabably mean a lot~

Unless you really do make up for it in other ways :)

If you are serious about Stanford, take Math II.

it can't hurt if you are good at math

Well its kind of too late to take it now, and even if it wasn't, I don't thin its worth it to study, sit and pay for a test that probably won't make a difference. But thanks for your opinions!
