No math since sophomore year?

Will colleges look down on the fact that I haven't taken a math course since 10th grade? It was AP Calculus BC (got a 5 on the exam), the highest math which my school offers. Technically, I could dual enroll at the nearby university and take Cal III next year as a senior; however, I would have to drop AP classes I'm interested in taking if I do that. I was in AP Chem this year, which was math heavy, but still technically is a "science" course rather than "math."

Additionally, my intended majors are international relations and business, so I am much more interested in taking social science courses next year as a senior. However, I will be applying to some prestigious schools, and I don't want them to question whether to accept me just because I haven't had any recent math classes.

Oh, and one more thing--I was considering self-studying for AP Stats next year (my school doesn't offer it). Would that help with the issue? I think it would be good as a social sciences/math combination course, but it still won't show up on my transcript--just my application as "self-studied."

Any advice?

Since you took the hardest math course most high schools offer (and which many don’t even offer), and you did so in the 10th grade, you shouldn’t worry at all. Take as many difficult courses in the Humanities and Social Sciences as you can (for example AP language, perhaps 2 foreign languages, all AP history courses, etc.)

Ok, thank you! That makes me feel much better about my schedule next year.
