No Mid Year Report, correct?

Just confirming: there is no midyear report that has to be sent, correct? I couldn't find any information about a mid year report in their freshman admissions instructions.

I Believe there isn’t since for me at least the decision comes before my grades mid year grades are out.

I would double check on that. My school automatically sends mid-year reports to all of my schools at the end of the first semester regardless if the college requires it or not.

While I don’t think UMD requires them, it may be your school’s policy to send reports anyways.

Yep that’s what I figured, but then all the ED accepted people (from other colleges) have to send Mid Years as well.

I’ll ask my guidance counselor (and in the likely case where she doesnt give me a good answer, I’ll call UMD). Thanks guys!

Assuming things haven’t changed since last year, you don’t need to send in a mid-year. I’m pretty sure the only post-decision grade report they requested (on the website) was the final transcript, but even that wasn’t something they enforced. Basically, once you submit your application, it’s not necessary to follow up on your progress thereafter.
