<p>no one in this board has gotten accepted tonight, but aquite a few have been waitlisted… but according to another poster, a few of his friends got in tonight.</p>

<p>Does UCI accept people based on the majors they chose? For example, if I chose a biological science major and its impacted does that mean I’m less likely to get into UCI? Or do they just accept students to the school, but they have to apply differently to get into different programs? I really hope I get in, I’ve tried so hard!</p>

<p>Been waiting since February, checking every single day for a rejection 
what makes it even worse is that I’ve been rejected to UCLA, UCSD and now UCI. I honestly don’t have any hope anymore.</p>
<p>The CA schools seem to be having problems, there is too much demand. If you don’t mind going out of state you can google schools with rolling admissions - some are still accepting applications (example: ASU, UCF). Don’t give up hope!</p>
<p>Another resource is nacacnet.org - they usually post a list in May of colleges that still have openings for qualified students - here is a link to the list from last year - they may have an updated list in May for this year…
