so, is there no more likely letters?

I think they're done... because I thought that they had to all be delivered by mid-March, and it's pretty much past mid-March by now. :(

Yeah, I'd be surprised; not too much fun in learning just two weeks early.

I think that's the end of that. Sorry guys but HEY!!!They still have 1100 acceptance letters to send out!!!:)

thanks King, but considering 1100/11000 is not nearly enough, hopefully, i'll get to be in that special 1100 lol

maybe its just late in the mail to the int'ls........or maybe not. *sigh

boo, I am sad that Dmouth doesn't think I'm likely

I like Dartmouth, but I guess they don't like me. Therefore, I'm not "likely." :(

But OMG- 2 weeks! AAAA! That's so soon!

wow. only 2 weeks. time is going by so fast...

i know march is going by faster than i expected....ooooii...im scared

i'm scared too...yet...excited! i can't wait for university!

don't feel disheartened... there are still 1500 spots open!!!!!!

Yeah. I kind of took it to mean that the uber-qualified, auto-admits were the ones who received letters. They kind of emphasized that not getting a letter didn't mean that you'd be rejected.

I was deferred, and I sent my deferral letter in late February (didn't want to send it too late or too early), which was probably right when they were sending letters out. I didn't expect to get one. I had, however, received a lot of awards (academic letter, state journalism qualification, national award for the paper, Dartmouth Book Award, Academic Decathlon trophy, etc.) since my deferral that they wouldn't have known about. I also wanted to make sure they knew I was still interested and that they were my number one choice.

As for the letter, well, they couldn't have known anything new about me when they sent them out. I'm kind of taking it with a grain of salt. Anyway. Don't worry about it.
