No more snail mail decisions?

I got an account registration email from Brandeis today to check on the status of my application. Does this mean that decisions will be released online instead of through snail mail??? I HOPE SO!!!

Actually, does anyone know if this is true?

I’m wondering this as well.
More and more colleges seem to give out decisions online; perhaps Brandeis is one of them.
I think most send out online decisions which are supplemented with packets sent through snail mail.
Does anyone know?

EDIT: I just checked the website and it said “Admissions notification date is the date by which letters are postmarked and sent in the mail.”

(scroll down to the bottom: http://www.brandeis.edu/admissions/applying/dates.html</a> )

I had seen that link on their website but I am thinking (hoping) that that statement is outdated.

Looking back on CC posts, they never had an online tool to check application status before. It looks like this is the first year for that, so I am hoping that also means they will release admissions decisions online and then I don’t have to sit by the mailbox everyday!

That would be great! :)
