<p>on the northwestern personal statement it says to have no more than 500 words. after LOTS of editing, i managed to bring it down to 514. is this acceptable?</p>
<p>and on the short statement questoins it says no more than 50 words. i went up to 58 on one of em...i hope that wont screw me over?</p>
