No more UCLA admission "trick" threads

Enough threads with voodoo tricks on how to find out early if you got in to UCLA. All they're doing is creating a great deal of consternation and work for the moderators. Once official admission letters roll out, feel free to make ONE UCLA admission thread. Until then, anyone making a UCLA admission "hack" thread will be timed out for two weeks, which should be just enough time for official letters to roll in anyway.

Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you very much

UCLAri has spoken! Thus it shall be!!!

good call UCLAri.

Also, please do not implicate others in this madness for now. More work is more work no matter how you guys generate it for me and other mods.

It was seriously getting out of hand. Thanks

Yeah, good move. I was just about to Sacrifice a lamb to the UCLA God's to see if I got in or not... haha those threads were getting outragous.

Guys and gals,

Perhaps this is the perspective that age brings. Perhaps I was just a cocky youngin' who had more faith in myself than you guys do. I don't know.

But I do know this much: If you completed a TAP and maintained a 3.5+ GPA at your CC, you're pretty much in at one of the top 3 UCs. So stop worrying and go out and have fun. You've all earned some rest from admissions madness.

Looking back the exact same thing happened last year...I guess it is just that some posters who shall remain nameless felt the need to attack and call names. Either way we will find out tomorrow anyway

so that was just some big joke?

I honestly don't know, nor do I care. It's just absurd to have about 400 threads on how you can tweak your flux capacitors for 1000 gigawatts of admissions energy and find out if you got into UCLA one day earlier than everyone else.

lol... that made me chuckle

88 Millllllllles Per Hourrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow what a buzzkiller.

so that was a joke? ????

its not to be discussed

HOW MANY LICKS?

the world may never know

If you're referring to the end of tricks threads, no. That's 100% serious.

If you're referring to my not-so-sly reference to a 1980s icon, then yes, Marty.

woah heavy

I think what UCLAri is saying is:

dont need money, dont need fame, dont need a credit card to ride this train....thats the power of love.

thats what it's all about guys

OK. /thread
