No motivation

I feel like I have 0 motivation to write any of my college essays because they all turn out terrible and although I obviously would love to get into my dream schools I can't physically make myself write them help

Getting ready for college is when you begin to realize things about yourself- maybe you want to take a gap year! Maybe you want to start at a community college and get more focused on your goals.

You can do it. Just do some deep soul searching, what makes you you? What makes you the person you are today? Writing college essays can be fun you can do it

I can totally relate. I’m feeling the same way. I already did my common app essay, but honestly only because I had to for a writing class. I still need to edit it like crazy, though, and it’s hard to look at it again when I just wanna be done with it, haha. I don’t even wanna talk about the supplemental essays, either :frowning:

Try to get excited about your dream schools again…go through their websites again, think about how great getting in would be and how much you want it. Make sure you’re responding to a prompt you really have a great topic to answer with, and make sure you’re interested in writing about that topic, because it’s gonna be 10x harder to write something you don’t really care about. Write something you’re gonna be proud of.
