No national awards?

<p>Quoted from the application:
"Please list up to five of your high school/community awards or recognitions that you have received. Rank them in the order of importance to you or the connection to your major; include the year(s) you received them. (Format should be--11th, Student Volunteer of the Year, Memorial Hospital)"</p>

<p>Because of the wording "high school/community," does this mean that I should not list national (i.e. AP Scholar, National Merit) awards?</p>

<p>That is exactly what I was wondering. I think national awards are a little more impressive than local level ones. I personally am going to include them and hope that it doesn’t look horrible to them if they didn’t want it..</p>

<p>it say recognitions. recognitions is a very generic term for basically any award.</p>
